Shopping, beaches, sightseeing

All visitors to Capri will want to take time to visit La Piazzetta, just a short distance from the hotel - this famous square is the focal point of the island's social life and boasts a selection of bars and restaurants as well as being surrounded by some exquisite boutiques and other shops.

Equally, a trip to some of the island's beaches is also a treat, taking a pleasant downhill stroll to get there, and perhaps the local bus to get back up to the hotel! Try the beach at Marina Piccola, easily walkable from the hotel, or, on the southwest side of the island, the beach at the Light house on Punta Carena gets sun all day long and is ideal for a sunset aperitif.

Also on the island are plenty of sightseeing opportunities - the summit of Mount Solaro, at 589 metres, gives a stunning panorama of the whole island, and can be reached on foot in about 90 minutes or via the chair lift in just 12 minutes!

Not to be missed is a trip to the Blue Grotto, famous for its size and he stunning blue tones of the water. A boat trip around the island is also advised, and takes around an hour and half.

Don't forget the Charterhouse of St James, the Augustus Gardens, the Faraglioni rocks and much more.
